My wife, myself, and friends went there for dinner last night. Everything was amazing!The Alfredo was better than any Italian restaurant I have been to!The Pumpkin pancakes were fantastic. Like a combination of pumpkin pie and a pancake!Everyone else loved their food too, and the service was great. Talked to one of the owners for a bit. Really nice too.
Best experience!Went there for dinner tonight and had Jason for our waiter. He was so excited to tell us about the drink specials, and all about the fresh baked breads… we ordered the drink specials and they were fabulous! I had the chicken fried chicken and a side of poutine and it was excellent. All three of us at dinner have already planned on taking more family there next week. Oh! And they offer a discount to first responders, how awesome is that!!Please go, and request Jason, you’ll be very happy
After seeing Andrew Harlan's story on this breakfast gem, I took the chance to drive 35 minutes at $4.89/gallon in my gas guzzler to have breakfast here and I'm glad I did. Great atmosphere. Great food. Great service. I wanted 7 different things on their breakfast/brunch menu. The blueberry pancakes and sausage tower was awesome! I was full but not miserably full. I washed it down with a Bloody Mary and finished my brunch with a spiked coffee. It was the perfect pairing. This experience was so good that I will gladly come back 6 more times to try the other dishes that I didn't have room for today. Danielle (owner) is super friendly and welcoming. The only reason I'm giving this review 5 stars is because Google won't let me give it 6. Get out and support a hard working local business owner so she can open up another location on the Tampa side of The Bay!
Love this comfy, well-designed, and convenient diner located at the Countryside Mall. This brand new diner/restaurant has an outstanding menu and all items freshly made right on the premises. The diner is located where Bar Louie was at one time. Has outdoor seating also. Has a huge well appointed bar, many tables and booths for patrons.Upon arrival, my husband and I were greeted by our server, Jason, who was extremely helpful and friendly. Jason explained the food and drink menu in detail. He was very knowledgeable in the food business and very happy about it. He explained how the chef prepares your order and that everything is freshly made. Jason recommended drinks from the drink menu and they were well presented and plentiful.During the dinner, the owner, Danielle, came out to introduce herself. She was extremely pleasant and was very happy to hear our compliments about our meals. I would highly recommend the Monster Reuben, the big Cheesy Hamburger as they were delicious, well presented and mouth watering. My husband and I also enjoyed the Bacon Mary and Loaded Claw drinks. Had a great first experience at Bacon Street Diner and we will be back again in the near future.
Great food, great service! My husband and I enjoyed our experience! I highly recommend this restaurant and want to wish them the best and thank you for bringing something new to the table! Vanessa the manager is very professional and personable and insured our experience was top notch! Our waitress Cheryl very friendly and attentive! Bacon bloody Mary so yummy! This is gonna be one of our favorite spots..
